Coding, Robotics for Foundation Phase teachers
Coding & Robotics is now a compulsory subject in the Foundation Phase, and many teachers are being asked to teach it without formal training or support. This SACE-accredited, CAPS-aligned course is designed specifically for Grades R–3 teachers and provides everything you need to confidently teach Coding & Robotics in your classroom. Through practical lessons, classroom-ready activities, downloadable resources, worksheets, assessments, and project ideas, you will learn how to teach computational thinking, coding, robotics, problem-solving, pattern recognition, and digital literacy in an engaging and age-appropriate way. The course also shows how Coding & Robotics integrates with Mathematics, Literacy, and Life Skills to create meaningful cross-curricular learning experiences. Teachers who successfully complete the course earn SACE CPTD points.
