Your tutor Jeanine
Jeanine has been teaching children electronics, robotics and coding since 2012, when people weren't really talking about 4IR yet, and at the start of 2020 decided to take this all online. She has a robotics and coding school that has taken thousands of children from knowing absolutely nothing about electricity to being avid coders and creators. She has developed courses that are challenging but age appropriate for children that want to know more, that want to understand the world they now live in, but not to intimidate them with heavy theory. These courses aren't just for children, adults enjoy them too! It should be fun learning all this incredible amazing stuff, and so we put a lot of thought into making our projects fun and relevant. She is passionate about teaching the younger generation the skills to survive in the 4IR, and not at a superficial level, but really to understand so that they themselves can create, and come up with inventions to solve some of the problems that arise in every day life.
Arduino Robotics
In our robotics courses we start at the very beginning programming an Arduino microcontroller to listen to messages from sensor and to make things happen in the real world, depending on the message. A good understanding of electronics is required as our focus is now coding in C++. The power of combining electronics and coding with a microcontroller is incredible. You can realize almost anything project you dream up!
